TT: Michael Stothers Instructor Spotlight
Monday, April 5, 2010
-
On June 26th, JFD will welcome four instructors from Traditions Training. We would like to spotlight FDNY's FF Stothers:

Michael is a member of the New York City Fire Department, assigned to Tower Ladder 13. He started his fire service career in 1997 as a fireman in the United States Air Force. He was assigned to Spangdahlem Air Force Base in Germany, where he held the positions of Driver/ Operator, Rescue Technician, and Crew Chief.

In 2002 Michael returned home to continue his career with FDNY. For the past 8 years he’s been assigned to Tower Ladder-13 on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. His broad fire experience has taken him from the rural areas of Europe to the densely populated urban streets of New York City. He brings a real world approach to the fires services’ ever changing environment.
Michael has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, and is a current member of the Air National Guard 106th Rescue Wing Fire Department.
